The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) approved flight training for 25 illegal aliens at a Boston-area flight school that was owned by yet another illegal alien, according to the Government Accountability Office.
The illegal-alien flight-school attendees included eight who had entered the country illegally and 17 who had overstayed their allowed period of admission into the United States, according to an audit by the GAO.
Six of the illegal aliens were actually able to get pilot’s licenses.
Discovery of the trouble at the flight school began when local police–not federal authorities–pulled over the owner of the school on a traffic violation and were able to determine that he was an illegal alien.

Stephen Lord, who is the GAO’s director of Homeland Security and Justice Issues, testified about the matter Wednesday in Rogers’ subcommittee. Rogers asked him: “Isn’t it true that, based on your report, the Transportation Security Administration cannot assure the American people that foreign terrorists are not in this country learning how to fly airplanes, yes or no?”
Lord responded: “At this time, no.”

It’s Those Damn Pilgrims!
“It’s a big issue. It’s a long time coming. We’ve done a lot of things wrong in policing in this country. I’m willing to admit that,” said McCarthy. “But this goes back 200-300 years to the time when Pilgrims came here and things developed from that, the African American experience in this country.”
But the Pilgrims weren’t the only people being blamed for the violence. The superintendent also laid blame at the feet of America’s finest and inferred – without actually stating it – that white police officers are the problem.

I can’t promise that you and I will agree on every issue. But I do promise that your hospitality to me today will be returned. We will know one another, and work to common purposes. I will seek your counsel. And if I am elected president, and you invite me to next year’s convention, I would count it as a privilege, and my answer will be yes.
Mitt Romney faced the most sustained booing of his presidential campaign – more than 15 seconds – when he told the NAACP that would ‘eliminate…Obamacare’.
The presumptive Republican nominee knew he would be facing a potentially hostile crowd at the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People conference in Houston – 95 per cent of blacks voted for President Barack Obama four years ago.
But he seemed briefly stunned by the booing and catcalling from the audience and departed from his prepared remarks to argue that Obama’s healthcare reform would cause businesses to shed jobs.
The Romney campaign has been accused of deliberately getting the Republican presidential candidate booed by black people during his NAACP speech to attract votes ‘in certain racist precincts’, by MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell.
The GOP candidate showed the content of his character at the NAACP convention by not pandering to blacks beset by illegitimacy, poverty, crime and joblessness — and an indifferent president who stayed away.
For refusing to pander to black voters in his speech to the NAACP convention, Mitt Romney was accused by MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell of pandering to his white base.
The speech, O’Donnell insisted, was part of a GOP “Southern strategy” used to appeal to “racial and racist voting.” Over at the Daily Beast, Michael Tomasky came unhinged, contending that Romney’s attempt to describe the plight of black Americans under President Obama’s hope and change, and offering real solutions to fixing the government that oppresses them, made him “a spineless, disingenuous, supercilious, race-mongering pyromaniac.”

The swine said
First, does anyone with half a brain think that white racists need any convincing to vote against Obama? I think Mr. Romney has all the white racists in the bag and doesn’t have to give speeches in front of a hostile black crowd to gain their vote. Mr. Romney was trying to do something more crazy: Appeal to the rational interests of black people with reasoned logic.
Blacks have an irrational admiration for Barry Obama. None of their enthusiasm comes as a surprise given their propensity to gravitate toward demagoguery and sophistry that is spewed from the mouth of a man that has dark skin. Their so-called leaders promote a victim/entitlement mentality and they respond in turn by demonizing external forces for their woes rather than addressing the true nature of their plight. The application of logic has no basis when your world is race centered. Focusing on the ideas and values that transcend skin color and promote success are considered too “white” and are shunned.
Mitt Romney showed courage and leadership in addressing a crowd of people who by and large share a distorted image of how things should be. He wants to be everyone’s president and he did the right thing by going to the NAACP to speak. He told the black crowd about how he would deal with the problems and they took it more or less in stride until Mr. Romney mentioned the Obamacare repeal. They really love the Democrat’s monstrous creation. Will they ever get over their race-centered focus and start seeing Obama for the monster he really is?

It’s not bad advice. See what happened to me when I stood my ground!–Nicolae Ceausescu, Romanian dictator executed for imposing Obamacare on the populace.
Border Patrol agents in Arizona are blasting their bosses for telling them, along with all other Department of Homeland Security employees, to run and hide if they encounter an “active shooter.”Its one thing to tell civilian employees to cower under a desk if a gunman starts spraying fire in a confined area, say members of Tucson Local 2544/National Border Patrol Council, but to give armed law enforcement professionals the same advice is downright insulting. The instructions from DHS come in the form of pamphlets and a mandatory computer tutorial.“We are now taught in an ‘Active Shooter’ course that if we encounter a shooter in a public place we are to ‘run away’ and ‘hide’” union leader Brandon Judd wrote on the website of 3,300-member union local. “If we are cornered by such a shooter we are to only as a last resort become ‘aggressive’ and ‘throw things’ at him or her. We are then advised to ‘call law enforcement’ and wait for their arrival presumably, while more innocent victims are slaughtered.”The FEMA-administered computer course, entitled “IS-907- Active Shooter: What You Can Do,” is a 45-minute tutorial that provides guidance to all employees on how to recognize indicators of possible workplace violence and what to do should their office be invaded by gunmen and focuses around three main options; either evacuate, hide out, or in dire circumstances, take action.

A man walking home from work was attacked and beaten by a large group of people on the Gold Coast late Sunday, police said.
The 36-year-old man suffered a laceration above his right eye and bruising to his head and body during the attack at 10 p.m. in the 800 block of North Dewitt Place, police said, citing early reports.
The group of attackers was comprised of between 15 and 20 males and females, police said. Preliminary police reports indicated that they may have been teenagers.
Police are listing the attack as a battery and there is no indication that the man was robbed, said Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Robert Perez. The attackers did not appear to say anything to the man to indicate why he was targeted, Perez said.
“It was without provocation, they just attacked,” Perez said.
The man was taken to nearby Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released.
Police had no other details.
Several youths were charged Sunday following an attack Saturday night that left a man with a broken jaw.

I read this story because a friend sent it to me via email. It’s another example of why a canceled my Tribune subscription and gave up consumption of mass media. Thank God for the internet and all the other reliable sources that tell it like it is rather than this 1984 Orwellian garbage. If you watch the video, Channel 9 interviews a clueless student and never mentions the race of the attackers. Other attacks have occurred in the area, but, according to Channel 9, those incidents are not related. Well, if you don’t count race, then I guess they aren’t. Now go enjoy downtown Chicago, but please be aware of your surroundings and watch out for, well, young people!

A Swine Followup

Oh look! They finally decided to release security footage of the marauding teens. Still, no description apart from “teens” shows up in the news story.
Chicago police have released surveillance photos of a group of teenagers who they say attacked a man after stealing his wife’s iPhone on the Red Line subway downtown over the weekend.
The couple were on a train near State and Lake streets about 10:20 p.m. Saturday when the woman dropped her iPhone and one of the teens picked it up, police said.
The husband told the teen to give it back and the group attacked him, pushing him to the ground and punching and kicking him, police said.
In an alert releasing the photos, police did not say how many teenagers were involved, but photos show at least half a dozen teens. Police did not release detailed descriptions of any of the teens, but said one of them was a girl or woman and the rest were men or boys.
The attackers fled the train at the State-Lake stop. The surveillance photos show the attackers at both the platform and turnstile levels of the subway station.
The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for treatment following the attack, but police did have any detailed information about his injuries.
Anyone with information was asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8382.

English? We don’t need to learn no stinkin’ English. Oh Jose, we have to go! Here comes the border agents. Hey, they much nicer than our federales.
A federal department ruled last week that the Forest Service violated a Spanish-speaking woman’s civil rights by calling the Border Patrol to help translate during a routine stop, saying it was “humiliating” to Hispanics and an illicit backdoor way to capture more illegal immigrants.
The ruling by the Agriculture Department’s assistant secretary for civil rights could change policies nationwide as law enforcement agencies grapple with how far they can go in trying to help the Border Patrol while not running afoul of racial profiling standards.
“The ACLU and illegal alien rights groups are well aware that American courts have never upheld their argument that language and national origin are equal, so they battle out these disputes in private between the agencies in order to come to a settlement where both the courts and the taxpayers are absent from the table,” said Suzanne Bibby, director of government relations for ProEnglish. “This is their new strategy because they know they will lose in the courts.”

Human beings are not random events. Individuals and groups have different histories, cultures, skills and attitudes. Why would anyone expect them to be distributed anywhere in a pattern based on statistical theories of random events? Much less make the absence of such a pattern become a basis for multimillion-dollar lawsuits?
However little evidence or logic there may be behind the belief that an absence of random distribution shows discrimination, there are nevertheless strong incentives for some people to cling to that belief anyway.
Those who lag behind — whether educationally, economically or otherwise — have every incentive to think of themselves as victims of those who are more successful.
Those who want their votes have every incentive to go along, or even to actively promote that idea.
So do those who want to see issues as moral melodramas, starring themselves on the side of the angels against the forces of evil.
The net result is an invincible dogma — and a polarized country.

NEW YORK — Rush Limbaugh’s opponents are starting a radio campaign against him Thursday, seizing upon the radio star’s attack of a Georgetown law student as a “slut” to make a long-term effort aimed at weakening his business.
The liberal Media Matters for America is using a past campaign against Glenn Beck as a template. In Limbaugh, however, they’re going after bigger game. He’s already fighting back and the group’s stance has provoked concerns that an effort to silence someone for objectionable talk is in itself objectionable.
