Reblogged from YDS: The Clare Spark Blog:
[This is Dr. James Pagano's latest guest blog on the drastic changes in health care policy just declared constitutional by the Supreme Court. His second blog can be found here: http://clarespark.com/2012/03/29/james-pagano-m-d-on-affordable-care-act/. Don't miss the comments where Pagano lays out his suggestions for fixing the problems with pre-ACA health care.]
On March 29th of this year I wrote about the Affordable Care Act and some of the effects it would have on the availability and quality of healthcare in this country should it be allowed to stand.

“The problem with racism is Matt Drudge,” Maher said. “I pick from Matt Drudge’s website — just this, over a month we monitored this. Just show some of the pictures that were on — there, Mike Tyson looking like he’s going to eat your head. Oh yes, Louis Farrakhan — because he’s so relevant now. Oh, and Marion Barry, he’s in the news also. Oh yes, Rev. Wright, because he matters to your life so much. This is who appears on the Drudge Report. Oh yes, and there’s Al Sharpton telling Eric Holder what he should do, and Michael Jordan angry, because that’s how we all remember him. This is racism in America.”
While Maher mocked the images, he neglected to provide context for the stories Drudge attached to the pictures — nor did Maher explain why he went all the way back to the month of April for his examples.

The swine copied this from the comment section…
Bill Maher was seated next
to a little girl on an airplane, turned to her and said, “Do you want to
talk? Flights go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fellow
passenger.”
The little girl, who had just started to read her book, replied “What would
you want to talk about?”
” Oh, I don’t know,” said Maher “How about why there is no GOD,
or no Heaven or Hell, or no life after death?” as he smiled smugly.
“OK,” she said. “Those could be interesting topics but let me
ask you a question first. A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same stuff -
grass. Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns
out a flat patty, but a horse produces clumps. Why do you suppose that
is?”
Maher, visibly surprised by the little girl’s intelligence, thinks about it and
says, “Hmmm, I have no idea..”
To which the little girl replies, “Do you really feel qualified to discuss
why there is no GOD, or no Heaven or Hell, or no life after death, when you
don’t know crap?”
And then she went back to reading…

Liberals have a problem with logic, facts, and making rational choices. Bill wasn’t able to draw a clear line between images and racism on Drudge, so he just went ahead and made the accusation using his own brand of logic–I like to call it sophistry.
Regarding the Drudge Report, Sarah Palin’s speech sums up the reasons why Bill is so upset.

As the campaign heats up, and the self-imposed restrictions of 2008 disappear, we will likely hear more about the once proud associations and friendships of Barack Obama that were all Trotskyized by the media ministries of truth during the unhinged summer of 2008.
In that regard, when the Pew poll recently revealed that the U.S. is more polarized than at any time in the last 25 years, it provided an answer to Rudy Giuliani’s rhetorical question in 2008 about what exactly a community organizer does. I think we now know the answer after four years of them/us divisiveness: In lieu of trying to find common solutions to shared problems in a fashion that suppresses innate differences, the community organizer seeks to find potential seams of friction and animosity, and then mine and exploit them for political gain– the ultimate aim being to forge together a near majority by piling faction upon faction to obtain compensatory damages for perceived grievances.
In 2008, Obama showed his hand with “typical white person,” the clingers speech, the “gun to the knife fight” and “get in their faces’” quips, the spread-the-wealth slip, and the suppression of his past radical associations and alliances. Since then we have seen everything from NFL football coaches appealing to voters on the basis of shared race; requests to Latinos to “punish our enemies”; a phony “war on women”; class envy and anger (“fat cat,” “corporate-jet owner” “pay your fair share,” now is not the time to profit, at some point you’ve made enough money, and on and on); targeted messages for greens and gays — as each hyphenated group forms a particular Obama action committee on the basis of its race, gender, or class, in hopes that in toto a bare majority emerges to extract concessions for the group.
#more#Obama’s brand of community organizing and dissection assumes some constants:
1) Each group must be defined as mostly a single-issue constituency (Latinos must focus on open borders rather than Hispanic unemployment rates; gay marriage is central to homosexuals, not worry over the deficit; African-Americans must remain gratified by Obama’s landmark achievement and not depressed by soaring black unemployment and inner-city economic stagnation; greens must see all of the above agendas not in conflict with their cap-and-trade or shutting down Keystone; women must put first loyalty to their gender and not worry over their husband’s current job or their sons’ employment, etc.).
2) There must always be a “them” — some sort of caricatured enemy that prevents “average folks” from getting what they deserve (e.g., George W. Bush, Big Oil, Wall Street, Republicans, etc.). We assume that the bogeyman is largely conservative, white, male, Christian, and heterosexual, but such precision is better left to the imagination.
3) Whipping up ethnic and racial solidarity is legitimate for pro-Obama groups, but would of course be racist if others tried the same polarizing tactic against him (e.g., African-Americans against Obama, European-Americans for Romney, Latinos for Romney, etc.).
4) Raising big Wall Street money, renouncing public campaign financing, setting records for presidential meet-and-greet fundraisers, etc. are all legitimate ways of using the system against itself, given the noble egalitarian ends that such tawdry means will further — and thus cannot be seen as either cynical selling out or abject hypocrisy.
5) There will always be enough capitalist “thems” who, in their greed, unthinkingly keep making enough golden fleece to periodically shear for the far more deserving.

I should add that Barry is the first affirmative action president. He’s been cut so much slack that he’s managed to save enough rope to hang himself this November. The public will either save the country or send it to damnation. I believe 4 years of this empty suit was more than enough. Let’s hope I’m right.

I’m slurping as I type!
Your morning cup of coffee may start to taste even better after a major government study found that frequent coffee drinkers have a lower risk of dying from a variety of diseases, compared with people who drink little or no coffee.
The report, published online in The New England Journal of Medicine on Wednesday, analyzed the coffee-drinking habits of more than 400,000 men and women ages 50 to 71, making it the largest-ever study of the relationship between coffee consumption and health.

Just don’t look a my transcripts! I have to milk this charade till November.
Barack Obama may have got worse high school grades than George W Bush after new evidence showed the current president was among a college class with poor average SAT scores.
Doubts about the supposedly superior intellect of Mr Obama were first raised after he refused to release his academic record.
He has also made some factual errors during his time in the job – although he is still a very long way behind his gaff-prone predecessor.
Doubts? It took the media some time before they started questioning this goof. He would have imploded under reasonable scrutiny, but white guilt, a compliant media, war exhaustion, and Bush derangement syndrome swept this guy into office. There are actually people out there who will vote for this guy again! They walk, or rather slither among us. Hey, how about those great job numbers that got posted today. Great job Barry!

economy, jobs, Obama, stupid college majors, stupid youth, this is what you get when you vote for a communist, white guilt

The young still drink my special brand of Koolaid. They'll vote for for me again. Thanks public schools and thank you white guilt!
A weak labor market already has left half of young college graduates either jobless or underemployed in positions that don’t fully use their skills and knowledge.
Young adults with bachelor’s degrees are increasingly scraping by in lower-wage jobs — waiter or waitress, bartender, retail clerk or receptionist, for example — and that’s confounding their hopes a degree would pay off despite higher tuition and mounting student loans.
An analysis of government data conducted for The Associated Press lays bare the highly uneven prospects for holders of bachelor’s degrees.

Take special note of all those liberals who majored in those dead-end disciplines. They’re the ones who voted for this bum and now they’re reaping what they sowed. Of course, they’ll be stupid enough to vote for this empty suit again.
