Jesse Lee Peterson’s articles are worth reading. Blacks who have a chip on their shoulder would be well served if they would spend some time pondering and understanding what Mr. Peterson has eloquently written about society’s issues.
Another email with a video worth watching:
Only two blacks were newly elected to congress this cycle, and both are Republican. Col West is from southern Florida, a bastion of the Democratic Party. He won in a walk.
It is worth the viewing. This new Congressman was an extremely popular commander in Iraq. He was forced to retire because during an intense combat action a few of his men were captured. At the same time his men had captured one of the guys who were with the Iraqis who captured his men.
Knowing that time was crucial and his interrogators were not getting anywhere with the prisoner COL West took matters into his own hands. He burst into the room and demanded thru an interpreter that the prisoner tell him where his men were being taken. The prisoner refused so COL West took out his pistol and placed it into the prisoner’s crotch and fired. Then the COL told the prisoner that the next shot would not miss. So the prisoner said he would show where the American service members were being taken. The Americans were rescued. Some one filed a report on incorrect handling of prisoners. COL West was forced to retire. COL West was just elected in November 2010 to Congress from Florida. During the elections he was part of a panel on how to handle or how to relate to Muslims. You will see his answer here.
Here is one of the new congressmen from Florida explaining very definitively in just over a minute the truth about Islam. Please watch and if you agree; please forward it to your friends, if you disagree, please hit the “delete” button.
Tyrone Carter wants to be Chicago’s next mayor. The questionnaire he filled out provides an important glimpse into a mind that stopped learning somewhere around the age of 12. The age approximation is based on assessment/comparison data. The source material I utilized came from written assignments that my son completed at both the age of 9 and 10. Though my son’s grammar, penmanship, and punctuation were far superior to Mr. Carter’s, Mr. Carter was probably on par with my son’s skills by age 12 after norming the data for inferior public school education, shunning “acting white” i.e. studying, and consuming a steady diet of 60 hours of television a week.
Unfunded pensions become unsecured debts in municipal bankruptcy and may be reduced. And the law makes it easier for a bankrupt city to tear up its labor contracts than for a bankrupt company, said James E. Spiotto, head of the bankruptcy practice at Chapman & Cutler in Chicago. FULL STORY
And on the same note:
Just another example of the profligacy and mismanagement that has left the US economy damaged for years to come. LINK
“In contrast to his main rivals in the mayor’s race, Rahm Emanuel has told labor leaders that he favors reducing pension benefits for the city’s existing work force and not just for new hires.”

– Life isn’t always fair;
– and maybe it was my fault.
Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).
His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.
Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.
It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.
Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.
Common Sense took a beating when you couldn’t defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.
Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.
Common Sense was preceded in death, by his parents, Truth and Trust; by his wife, Discretion; by his daughter, Responsibility; and by his son, Reason.
He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers;
I Know My Rights
I Want It Now
Someone Else Is To Blame
I’m A Victim
Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.
See, this is the problem. The truth is the great casualty. And what do you think the target is when people begin to say, “We’ve gotta dial back this heated rhetoric?” Truth is the great enemy to the Democrat Party. Truth is the great enemy to the American left. They have to wipe out truth whenever they can and wherever they see it, because truth is not them. So it was not intended yesterday as a media tweak. I intended to say these people profit off of these things, they try to. Their first instinct, they couldn’t help it, every time something like this happens, is to advance their political agenda. And we know that part and parcel of their political agenda is to shut this radio program down, to shut down Fox News, to shut down all of what they call conservative talk radio. We know that this is what they seek. We’ve got Jim Clyburn out today saying we need the Fairness Doctrine back, despite now clear-cut evidence this shooter was in no way, shape, manner, or form affected by what happens on this program. Quite the opposite. This man was affected by media creations of leftists. FULL TRANSCRIPT
It’s interesting to see how the truth gets in the way of the left. They would just love to curtail any speech coming from the opposition.
Harry Markopolos wrote “No One Would Listen” and I thought I could just turn on my Sony Reader and download the book. I saw the price of $19.56 and thought that was a little high for an ebook. I clicked on Amazon and see that the Kindle edition was selling for $9.99! I would have bought it for $10, but the hardback at Amazon was only $17.95! Well, I ended up going to the Chicago Public Library site and placed a free hold on the book. The book isn’t checked out at my branch, so I probably will get a notification Monday or Tuesday.
Kindle won’t function on a Sony Reader, so it looks like I’ll just have to put off reading, read the old fashioned way, no one makes money, and I save money. Thanks Sony!
A woman in a hot-air balloon realized she was lost. She lowered her altitude and spotted a man in a boat below. She shouted to him, “Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don’t know where I am.” The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, “You’re in a hot air balloon, approximately 30 feet above a ground elevation of 2,346
feet above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees,49.09 minutes west longitude. “She rolled her eyes and said, “You must be a Republican.” “I am,” replied the man. “How did you know?” “Well,” answered the balloonist, “everything you told me is technically correct. But I have no idea what to do with your information, and I’m still lost. Frankly, you’ve not been much help to me.” The man smiled
and responded, “You must be an Obama Democrat” “I am,” replied the balloonist. “How did you know?” “Well,” said the man, “you don’t know where you are or where you are going. You’ve risen to where you are, due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to solve your problem. You’re in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but somehow, now it’s my fault.”
