In each robbery, the gunmen approach and rob the victims of wallets, cash and cell phones.The men are between 20 and 35 years old, 5-foot-7 to 6-foot-2 and 160 to 190 pounds. They wore different-colored baseball caps. In one of the incidents, a white or gray Nissan was possibly used. In another, a gray four-door vehicle was used, police said.
Black leaders are praising the Chicago Sun-Times today after winning honors at the annual PC Awards for best crime coverage in the city. “As a racial minority over-represented by violent criminals, single motherhood, welfare recipients, and all-around slackers, we are encouraged by the sensitivity the Sun-Times has demonstrated in writing crime stories that are race-neutral,” gushed Mohammed Jackson, president of the Mike Tyson Center for Inter-Urban Justice and Redistribution of Wealth, a nonprofit organization focused on legalized looting of productive business entities in the Chicago metro area.
