The Fox commentary does give a sense of proportion while exposing Obama’s hypocrisy. Why is Barry so silent on this matter? Would it be politically correct for the administration to speak out on this tragedy?
The reason why Katie Steinle’s case is different compared to Furguson and Baltimore is her murder does not fit Obama’s narrative. It is that simple. Furthermore, her death at the hands of an illegal alien exposes that ugly underbelly of non-enforcement of immigration law. The porous border, sanctuary cities, and all the incentives that encourage the invasion have real consequences for the citizens of this nation. Don’t believe what you’ve been told by the media; it is terrible trend and will only get worse if nothing is done to cease the illegal influx.
“How beautiful it is to do nothing, and then rest afterward.” – Spanish proverb
The Obama administration is arguing in federal court that a homeschooling family from Germany should be deported back to their homeland, despite what they say is religious persecution. The German government prevented Uwe and Hannelore Romeike from teaching their five children at home instead of sending them to government-run schools, fining them and threatening to prosecute them if they don’t obey.
All those illegal aliens that get to send their progeny to our public schools on our dime, collect food stamps, and they live among us without a worry in the world of deportation unless they have felony record. Oh wait, Big Sis set all those naughty boys free due to all those sequestration cuts. Anyway, below is a link for the petition site regarding this family’s case. Give them a hand by signing it. The country is inundated with illegal aliens, yet the government wants to kick these people out.
A Navy destroyer stops four Mexicans in a row boat rowing towards California. The Captain gets on the loud-hailer and shouts, “Ahoy, small craft. Where are you headed?” One of the Mexicans puts down his oar, stands up, and shouts, “We are invading the United States of America!” The entire crew of the destroyer double over in laughter. When the Captain is finally able to catch his breath, he gets back on the loud-hailer and asks, “Just the four of you?” The same Mexican stands up again and shouts, “No, we’re the last four. The rest are already there!”
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) approved flight training for 25 illegal aliens at a Boston-area flight school that was owned by yet another illegal alien, according to the Government Accountability Office.
The illegal-alien flight-school attendees included eight who had entered the country illegally and 17 who had overstayed their allowed period of admission into the United States, according to an audit by the GAO.
Six of the illegal aliens were actually able to get pilot’s licenses.
Discovery of the trouble at the flight school began when local police–not federal authorities–pulled over the owner of the school on a traffic violation and were able to determine that he was an illegal alien.
Stephen Lord, who is the GAO’s director of Homeland Security and Justice Issues, testified about the matter Wednesday in Rogers’ subcommittee. Rogers asked him: “Isn’t it true that, based on your report, the Transportation Security Administration cannot assure the American people that foreign terrorists are not in this country learning how to fly airplanes, yes or no?”
Lord responded: “At this time, no.”
“With respect to the notion that I can just suspend deportations (of immigrants brought here illegally as children) through executive order, that’s just not the case, because there are laws on the books that Congress has passed.” — President Obama, March 28, 2011
Those laws remain on the books. They have not changed. Yet Obama last week suspended these very deportations — granting infinitely renewable “deferred action” with attendant work permits — thereby unilaterally rewriting the law. And doing precisely what he himself admits he is barred from doing.
A federal department ruled last week that the Forest Service violated a Spanish-speaking woman’s civil rights by calling the Border Patrol to help translate during a routine stop, saying it was “humiliating” to Hispanics and an illicit backdoor way to capture more illegal immigrants.
The ruling by the Agriculture Department’s assistant secretary for civil rights could change policies nationwide as law enforcement agencies grapple with how far they can go in trying to help the Border Patrol while not running afoul of racial profiling standards.
“The ACLU and illegal alien rights groups are well aware that American courts have never upheld their argument that language and national origin are equal, so they battle out these disputes in private between the agencies in order to come to a settlement where both the courts and the taxpayers are absent from the table,” said Suzanne Bibby, director of government relations for ProEnglish. “This is their new strategy because they know they will lose in the courts.”
It’s nice to read more garbage about our pathetic government.
