The NYT reports about a car thief who fails to surrender, tries to make good his escape, and ends up being lead-ventilated by the police after using the stolen car as a weapon against the officers. The misunderstood entrepreneur didn’t survive his wounds. Now the advocates for slain car thieves have voiced their dismay with nonfunctional police body cameras and an alleged cover-up due to the lack blow-by-blow coverage of the event was missing, hidden, or otherwise not recorded.
Of course, the hyphenated American in this case was, you guessed it, a black male, making him an African-American. Given this designation, perpetual outrage ensued from the surrounding “community,” while the media spun a narrative critical of the police for having the audacity to actually enforce the law rather than emphasize the very poor choices the now dead Paul O’Neal made that ultimately led to his early demise. As always, the soft bigotry of low expectations applies to media coverage of racial minorities who have equal or lower expectations than the media.
But grief filled the street where Mr. O’Neal was shot. Near a makeshift memorial of teddy bears and signs, Ja’Mal Green, an activist serving as a spokesman for the family, said Mr. O’Neal’s death and others like it made it difficult to repair relations between Chicago’s police officers and its black residents.
“Once we can have some type of cameras that work and actually show our side of the story,” Mr. Green said, “and actually get these officers prosecuted and hold these officers accountable, that’s when we can start seeing a relationship between police and the community.”
Not an utterance of the recklessly criminal behavior of the dead guy from the community mouthpiece. It would be silly for an activist to even mention the bad behavior of the “victim” since it would detract from their narrative–racists police preying on innocent minorities. An admission to O’Neal’s poor choices would be on par to admitting that black communities are plagued with crime due to government subsidization of single motherhood–a leading factor that destroys the formation of black families and leaves legions of black children fatherless. An honest discussion could and probably would lead right back to the public policies that Democrats promote. What are the chances that O’Neal came from a two parent home, went to a decent school, and had never been arrested for a crime? You would be labeled a racist for even attempting to discuss such issues; it’s better to kick the brave officers in the teeth with vacuous accusations of biased enforcement than address the true societal pathogens and the public policies that sustain the chaos.
Regarding the police, allow for the investigation to go forward; the facts supported by evidence regarding the actions of the offender and the officers will come out. Let the facts determine if the officers were justified or practiced inexcusable recklessness. Address the camera issue and find out what went wrong so corrective measures can be taken. We already know what happens when you follow the same path that Marilyn Mosby took in Baltimore, so ignore the mindless banter of the mob (almost always ginned up by the media) and focus on the facts.
The NYT’s article focuses attention on a non-functional camera rather than a non-functional entrepreneur who created the mayhem from the start. No mention of the dead man’s background because it would be politically incorrect to do so. We are left to digest an anti-police narrative so typical of the New York Times. Well, at least that Facebook picture gives some insight into Mr. O’Neal’s character.
It is what the regressive left does so well when it comes to suppressing ideas and arguments that run counter to their agenda.
Carly Hoilman of the Blaze says Fox News’ Trace Gallagher is reporting that leaked text messages between one of Marilyn Mosby’s deputies and the lead investigator in the Freddie Gray case raise new concerns about Mosby’s honesty and good faith in deciding to charge six officers with Gray’s death. The leaked messages reportedly suggest that the prosecutors planned to charge the officers regardless of what the evidence showed.
Double M (Marilyn Mosby) catered to the mindless mob over the death of another entrepreneur. The results spoke well of the justice system that held a malicious prosecution in check–a bench trial as opposed to a jury of “peers.” Nevertheless, the damage to the morale of the Baltimore P.D. was and still is immeasurable. Another example of the tail wagging the dog when it comes to pleasing the easily excitable though profoundly ignorant masses.
Last week, DePaul University informed the DePaul Young Americans for Freedom chapter (of which I am Vice Chairman) that they plan to partake in this attack. DePaul University has banned conservative commentator Ben Shapiro from appearing on campus. Mr. Shapiro’s strong defense of the Constitution and conservative values is apparently too much for the University and its students to handle.

David French wrote a piece describing how governments and the media conspire to hide the truth regarding Muslims. It is nothing new and has been practiced both in Europe and the United States for quite some time. Pervasive black crime in large cities like New York and Chicago will often report the crime without any description of the perpetrator. More often than not, it is not for the lack of a description of the offender, but rather an agenda driven media with other ideas about truth regarding minority criminals. As Mr. French points out:
The truth disrupts the elite’s preferred multicultural narrative, which places all faiths and cultures on equal footing — except for our despised Western civilization. The truth must therefore be suppressed. But the lies are starting to backfire. Victims can’t be ignored indefinitely, and it’s hard to hide mass-scale public assaults. Since 9/11, Western governments and mainstream media have relentlessly pounded their people with deception and wishful thinking about Islam, jihad, and the Middle East. The lies are now being exposed by the light of day. Will enough people care?
Here is classic example of denial. Mayor Jim Kenny and his astonishing double-speak regarding an admitted Islamist’s attempt to assassinate of Philadelphia police officer :
The president, who often has much to say about white police officers shooting black thugs, was silent regarding the ISIS acolyte and his attempt to kill a patrolman. Does Obama believe such stories get in the way of the law-abiding America-loving refugee image he’d like to perpetuate as he tries to import more Muslims into America? How long will a discerning public put up with such distortions, lies, and cover-ups?
The Fox commentary does give a sense of proportion while exposing Obama’s hypocrisy. Why is Barry so silent on this matter? Would it be politically correct for the administration to speak out on this tragedy?
The reason why Katie Steinle’s case is different compared to Furguson and Baltimore is her murder does not fit Obama’s narrative. It is that simple. Furthermore, her death at the hands of an illegal alien exposes that ugly underbelly of non-enforcement of immigration law. The porous border, sanctuary cities, and all the incentives that encourage the invasion have real consequences for the citizens of this nation. Don’t believe what you’ve been told by the media; it is terrible trend and will only get worse if nothing is done to cease the illegal influx.
President Obama declared in his recent address to the nation: “ISIL is not Islamic.”But how does he know? On what basis did the president of the United States declare that a group of Muslims that calls itself “Islamic State” not Islamic?

He didn’t mention anything about the Skittles and Watermelon Tea as key ingredients to make the ghetto stew called “lean.” He didn’t have to. Here’s a man who simply told the truth without all the liberal clutter, spin, and distortion. The race hustlers hate truth tellers like this.
